Support & troubleshooting.
Most questions are answered below. If not, we're a short email away.
Common questions
- CSSpeek isn't showing anything on a page. Why?
- A few Chrome-owned pages (like chrome:// URLs and the Chrome Web Store) block all extension content scripts. That's a Chrome restriction, not a CSSpeek bug. On all other pages, try reloading the tab after installing.
- The extension icon isn't visible in my toolbar.
- Chrome hides new extensions by default. Click the puzzle-piece icon to the right of the address bar, find CSSpeek, and click the pin icon to keep it visible.
- Does CSSpeek work in Incognito mode?
- Only if you explicitly enable it. Visit chrome://extensions, find CSSpeek, click Details, and toggle 'Allow in incognito'.
- How do I uninstall CSSpeek?
- Right-click the CSSpeek icon in the toolbar and choose 'Remove from Chrome'. No data persists after uninstall.
- Can I use CSSpeek on Edge or Brave?
- Yes. Both are Chromium-based and support Chrome Web Store extensions. Firefox support is on the roadmap.
