Install: frequently asked questions

I just installed but don't see an icon. Where is it?
Chrome hides new extensions by default. Click the puzzle-piece icon to the right of the address bar, find CSSpeek, and click the pin icon to make it permanently visible.
Do I need to restart Chrome after installing?
No. CSSpeek is available immediately on tabs you open or refresh after installing.
Can I install on a work computer with managed Chrome?
If your organization's Chrome policy allows extensions from the Chrome Web Store, yes. Some organizations restrict this — check with your IT team.
How do I enable CSSpeek in Incognito mode?
Visit chrome://extensions, find CSSpeek, click Details, and toggle 'Allow in incognito'. This is opt-in by design.
Is the install size small?
Yes. CSSpeek is intentionally lightweight — typically under 200 KB. It adds no measurable overhead to Chrome's memory footprint.
How do I uninstall?
Right-click the CSSpeek icon and choose 'Remove from Chrome'. All local preferences are deleted with the extension.
